Mercat de l'Art

Although the Mercat de l'Art (Plaça de Sant Josep Oriol, 4) is not your traditional flea market, for the art enthusiasts out there, it is a wonderful plaça full of original art pieces sold by the artists at mini stands, right beside the Esglèsia del Pi in the Barri Gòtic. In fact, on the other side of the church on some weekends you'll find a separate market for local artisanal meats and cheeses if you are interested in a bite to eat. The Mercat del Art does not have an official website, but it is only open on Saturdays from 10am until 8pm and Sundays from 11am until 2pm. Hours could vary depending on the season, so make sure you go check out the art while enjoying the beautiful spring weather.

Mercat Gòtic

Mercat Gòtic (Avinguda de la Catedral) is a traditional market in the Gothic Quarter, right in front of the Barcelona Cathedral. With 28 exhibitors, Mercat Gòtic is known for selling many different kinds of antiques and collectibles.
