Anonymous, the group of hackers, has this afternoon taken down the websites of the Spanish Defence Ministry, Constitutional Court and National Police Corps as part of a new wave of its Operation Catalonia.
The pages were offline for over two hours but are now back up.
The group announced on Saturday the start of a new wave of actions in protest of the Spanish state's treatment of Catalonia, calling on people to join them to "shut down" the Spanish government.
Anonymous' Operation Catalonia started last year after the 1st October referendum and the scenes of police attacking members of the public at polling stations.
