The Catalan government today passed a decree regulating ridesharing companies. Cars will have to be booked at least 15 minutes in advance – the Barcelona area plans to extend that to 1 hour. Ridesharing firms have lifted a blockade on the city's Diagonal avenue but are planning to take legal action. Meanwhile, thirteen Catalan, Spanish and international human rights organizations are ready to send observers to the independence trial. The Supreme Court has not yet responded to their request to attend the sessions.
