"If the Supreme Court rules before the opinion of Luxembourg [EU Court of Justice] it would be a fraud of law." -as per tweet below. This is how the lawyer of Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva, Andreu Van den Eynde, spoke in an interview with Catalunya Ràdio. In this way, the lawyer stated that the sentence of the 1st October trial against the Catalan leaders should not be issued, before the EU Court of Justice dictates about the immunity of the ERC leader.
Supreme Court sources, quoted by La Vanguardia, say that judge Marchena accelerated the work to make the ruling public before October 15, the day after the Court of Luxembourg begins the oral hearing to decide whether Junqueras can access the position of MEP.

For now, however, Van den Eynde describes it as an intentional rumor.
