The logos of both Barcelona city council and FC Barcelona's Foundation have been removed from the list of Global Spain's collaborators on its website. Global Spain is the Spanish government's new campaign ???, launched just ahead of the trial of pro-independence Catalan leaders.
The two bodies complained last week that the new organisation was using its logos without permission, the city council adding that they hadn't actively collaborated with the project. This Tuesday, their logo was removed from its place between the city councils of Ávila and Burgos in the "institucional" tab.
Later in the day, the FC Barcelona Foundation's logo was removed too from the "deporte" section. On Saturday, the club's vice-president Jordi Cardoner said they had "no agreement" with the body and announced they'd asked for an "explanation as to why an improper use of the logo has been made".
