Read in Catalan

The "countrywide standstill" called for today, Wednesday 8th November, has been observed by people all around Catalonia. As well as attending the official demonstrations, protesters have closed roads throughout the morning. Many travellers have seen long waits and journeys interrupted by peaceful actions calling for justice and the release of political prisoners.
