Pep Guardiola has also wanted to send a message of support after the terrorist attack in La Rambla, Barcelona. The Manchester City coach, prior to the second weekend of the Premier League, has shown his conviction that the city will overcome the attack: "Barcelona will rise and demonstrate again how beautiful Catalonia is. I hope this will not happen again, neither here nor in any other place in the world."
Guardiola also felt for those injured and who had lost their lives in a such an emblematic area of the city. "Our thoughts are with the families that have suffered this directly. It is a place that we all know is very important in the history of Barcelona, La Rambla."
