The current Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has, alongside the journalist Xavi Torres, visited the Catalan political prisoners in Lledoners jail. The visit was announced by Jordi Cuixart on Twitter, where he thanked the former Barça coach for his visit and for showing that "leadership is also social commitment and solidarity".
Guardiola's visit to Lledoners came within the program of activities organised with inmates. The coach gave a speech on leadership and teamwork.
It's not the first time Guardiola has made a gesture towards the prisoners: he's regularly seen wearing a yellow loop of support, including at matches.
