A Scottish theatre has filled with estelades, Catalan "starred" pro-independence flags in support of Catalan independence and to denounce the imprisonment of the Catalan government. The action took place during the Independence Convention, "a forum for political parties, organisations and individuals, in Scotland and beyond who support Scottish independence".

Attendees held up the flags, cheered and shouted "Visca Catalunya, visca Escòcia" (Long live Catalonia, long live Scotland).
