The number two on Vox's list of candidates for Congress for Barcelona for the 28th April Spanish general election, lawyer Juan José Aizcorbe, attended a mass in honour of dictator Francisco Franco, the founder of his Falange party, José Antonio Primo de Rivera, and those who "fell for Spain" held on 10th November 2016 in Madrid, according to ElDiario.es.
The mass, promoted by the Francisco Franco Foundation, ended with the Francoist anthem Cara al sol and a number of attendees giving the fascist salute.
Recently, Aizcorbe represented the Franco family in a lawsuit against the town council of Santigo de Compostela, which was claiming ownership of some statues in the city's cathedral.
