After a rocky summer, Barcelona-El Prat airport will see another strike this year. Ground staff from Iberia at the airport will walk out again on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th September. This will have a knock-on effect for the operations of various other airlines who contract services from Iberia.
Vueling, for example, has announced it will cancel 206 flights scheduled for this weekend due to either have landed at or departed from the Catalan capital, the weekend the city is celebrating its festa major. It advises those affected by these cancellations, which are "completely outside of [its] control", to not even go to the airport. Customers who were to have flown with Vueling, or on a codeshare with Iberia or British Airways, can change their booking to fly within the following fortnight for free on their operator's website. Alternatively, they can request a refund. Those who booked through a travel agency are advised to contact them instead.
The following documents list the cancelled flights by their (Vueling) flight number, airport of origin and destination (three-letter code) and scheduled departure time.
