According to the airline holding company International Airlines Group (IAG), Vueling, Spain's largest carrier, does not plan to move its registered office from Catalonia. Despite the political uncertainty in Catalonia since the 1st October referendum, the low-cost airline has no plans to move its registered office from Prat de Llobregat, near Barcelona-El Prat Airport, where it also has its main operations hub.
IAG's decision comes in a context of a number of Catalan companies changing their registered offices due to the political situation in the country. According to statistics from the Col·legi de Registradors (College of Record-Keepers), at least 691 have changed their address, which does not necessarily imply a move of any operations or jobs, out of Catalonia since 1st October.
