The 'yes' side has won this Sunday's Catalan independence referendum with 90% of the 2,262,424 votes cast. 'No' got 176,565 votes, 7.8% of the total. Some 770,000 who wanted to vote couldn't exercise their right due to the police repression by the Spanish state.
Blank ballots were 2% of the total (45,586) and null votes 0.9% (20,129).
These statistics were announced by the Catalan government's spokesperson, Jordi Turull, in a press conference at the international press centre in Barcelona.
