Spanish far-right party Vox is in tune with some Spanish military, as it is becoming more obvious day after day. The latest episode starred lieutenant colonel Gustavo Adolfo Martínez Benito, who allowed a lunch for affiliates and supporters of the party led by Santiago Abascal, at the Logotano Sports-Military Equestrian Center, in the Spanish region of La Rioja, according to La Rioja newspaper.
Two weeks later, the Spanish Ministry of Defense has announced the dismissal of Martínez Benito. However, the provincial newspaper has reported that the reasons for this dismissal have not been made public, although they seem rather obvious.
Gustavo Adolfo Martínez Benito, born in Albelda (Huesca, Spain's Aragón region), took office on July 8th, 2019 succeeding Julián Romay. Now, Lieutenant Colonel Martínez Benito awaits a new assignment. It should be noted that the event, which was held on January 25th, was attended by the secretary-general of the party, Javier Ortega Smith, as shown by these images published on his Twitter profile:
