The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) do not consider the terrorist cell behind this week's attacks completely dismantled because they're still looking for one more member and they haven't yet identified the driver of the van behind the attack on la Rambla in Barcelona, according to the Catalan Interior minister, Joaquim Forn. This statement directly contradicts one from the Spanish Interior minister, who this lunchtime had announced the cell was completely disactivated.
"I do not want to contradict the [Spanish] minister Zoido, not by a long run, but this is an investigation that's being carried out by the Mossos d'Esquadra" and there are several leads being followed, as well as events that they don't consider over said Forn in a statement to the media after signing the book of condolence at Barcelona City Hall.
"We are optimists, but we cannot consider the investigation led by the Mossos over until we determine and arrest all the members of the cell. The advances from the hit given [to the cell] at Cambrils are important, but there remains work to do," he said.
