Several F.C.Barcelona supporters at the King's Cup final in Madrid have had yellow t-shirts with pro-independence slogans confiscated by police, as well as placards and estelada flags. Fans began complaining about this as they were entering Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium on Saturday evening for the final of the Copa del Rey - the King's Cup between Barça and Sevilla. Barça supporters took to Twitter to complain about the irregularities.
Ban on 'Freedom for political prisoners' signs
One of the t-shirts that Spanish police were confiscating was that worn in the thousands by Catalans on the Catalan National Day, 2013. The police also refused to allow anyone to enter the ground with a placard saying 'Freedom for the political prisoners'.

The police officers at the stadium gates have been carrying out heavy security checks. Apart from looking for prohibited and dangerous objects, they also focused on yellow t-shirts and pro-independence slogans.
