Andrés Iniesta has broken his silence on the conflict between Catalonia and Spain to make a call for a political dialogue to try and find a solution. The Barça captain, via Facebook, called for politicians to reach an understanding "for all of us" because "we deserve to live in peace".
Barça's locker room has been practically mute during these days after the 1st October referendum. Iniesta, who rarely speaks on topics outside sport, follows teammate Gerard Piqué who again defended the referendum after their match against Las Palmas finished on Sunday. Sergi Roberto also published a photograph of himself on social media in a polling station.
